12 Month Product Guarantee

Here at Little Bugs Co we pride ourselves on our excellent craftmanship and design which is why all of our products, big or small, come with a 12 month guarantee. In the unlikely event, that there is a fault or a problem within this time, please contact us providing your order number and pictures of your product displaying the fault.

Your 12-month guarantee will cover defective parts or problems with workmanship. However, it will not cover any damage caused by improper use, accidents, rough handling, poor maintenance or ordinary wear and tear. We hope you understand that as wood is a natural product, and no two trees are alike, there may be possible differences in the appearance of your product than those pictured on out site. For example, knots, natural blemishes and colour may vary slightly in your products. Also, the process of plywood production includes the removal of knots from the wood surface. These are replaced with what are called Jigsaw pieces, this is normal and a result of the product being natural. These characteristics are no reason for complaints and therefore not covered in the guarantee.

In the event of missing parts or a damaged product, please contact us to arrange replacements. We strongly advise you to never carry out repairs yourself, as this will invalidate the guarantee.

Your statutory consumer rights will not be affected.
 
Within 14 days from receiving your products
If you want to return your faulty goods for a refund, repair or replacement, you will be refunded the delivery cost you paid to get it sent to you, this includes any express delivery options.
If repairs/ replacements aren’t done to your satisfaction, we ask that you contact us within 30 days of receiving the returned or repairs product/s to arrange a refund and return.
Within 6 Months from receiving your products
Once we have received the requested information, we may ask for products to be returned for assessment, we will cover the cost of the collection within the first 6 months from the delivery date, after 6 months, we will ask for you to arrange delivery of the affected products at your cost. Should we find that the fault was present at the time you took ownership of the product, we will refund these costs.
If a product is returned for assessment, and if it is found to be faulty, we will offer to replace, or repair your product. Product Care Guide
To keep your furniture and toys in good condition for a long period, it should be regularly maintained. We recommend dusting your items on a regular basis with a soft, dry cloth. If you need to clean your product, a damp cloth with a little bit of dish soap will do the trick and afterwards, dry off with a dry cloth. However, when cleaning or maintaining a product purchased in the eco finish, simply rubbing down with fine sandpaper will remove any small marks. Our eco products are hand finished with fine sand paper yet, like all natural wood products can splinter so please regularly check product and if any rough areas are found simply rub down with sandpaper. Never use cleaning agents, detergents or abrasives as this will damage the product and will not be covered in the guarantee.

Outside Use
To keep your product in good condition, we recommend keeping your item covered when not in use to prevent water and weather damage. We also recommend re-coating periodically at least once per year with a clear varnish suitable for exterior use. We don’t recommend using eco products outside.
